News 08 October 2023

The 5th Intensive Course for Arbitrators was held in Lisbon on September 22 and 23, 2023. The initiative, co-organized by the Commercial Arbitration Centre (CAC) and the Portuguese Arbitration Association (APA), brought together lawyers and specialists from several Portuguese-speaking countries. Various topics were discussed in depth, from the constitution of the Arbitral Tribunal to the management of the procedure and the arbitral award, as well as a hearing simulation and various cases and practical situations, both national and international.

Sofia Ribeiro Mendes and Catarina Monteiro Pires, members of the Board of the Portuguese Arbitration Association, took part as trainers, and the APA Board also closed the course.
